We know most of you Freshome readers have a soft spot for minimalist design. In today’s post, we would like to introduce you to an interesting furniture duo. Spanish creative consultancy Masquespacio presented their last art direction project for upholstery company Missana. After the celebration of the crazy twenties with their The Twenties collection, this new proposal from Missana called The Novelties aims to present a new more vanguard and contemporary range of products. The first unit developed in the collection is called The Oslo chair, a minimalist design combining Mediterranean freshness and Nordic functionality.

The Oslo chair is accompanied by the Valentino Bench, an item which brings a cheerful vibe to the collection with its five cushions of different colors. Slim wooden legs add elegance, making the project easily adaptable to various modern needs. Both items display a simple, yet sturdy structure, with high precision craftsmanship. We would love to know your thoughts regarding these minimalist furniture designs. Would you consider having them in your home?  [Photography by David Rodríguez and Carlos Huecas]
