Working with visually tempting color contrasts, Design Studio Dragon Art planned and implemented a stylish apartment design in Gdynia, Poland.  This impressive home is the result of interconnecting two smaller apartments and adapting the result to the modern living needs of a family of four members. The focal point of the house is an open space accommodating the kitchen, dining area and seating area. The living room is linked to a beautiful terrace with comfortable furniture items, a good spot for enjoying soothing time outdoors.

In the lounge area, the designers chose to suspend an unusual Flos lamp above the sofa, in order to visually reduce the scale of the room and make it friendlier. The white bookcase comes with plenty of storage units, cleverly hidden from sight. The color palette was kept simple, yet highly intriguing, with powerful blue hues contrasting the neutral grays and whites. The bedroom is particularly interesting, with its overall modern vibe. A giant poster depicting a Greek god completes the unconventional look.  [Information provided via e-mail by Design Studio Dragon Art; Photos by Foto & mohito]
