Ukrainian studio Ivan Yurima Architects designed an inspiring modern apartment in Kiev, where a family can bond together in comfort and elegance. Spreading over 200 square meters, the apartment in central Kiev’s Pechersk historical neighborhood was imagined for a young family who have a modern take on their lifestyle. Based on principles of minimalist functions and an aesthetically pleasant environment, this cozy collection of spaces were imagined in a prevailing color: white. Bright social spaces, like the living area, dining and kitchen, promote a mix of elements that balance the design.

The presence of wood sweetens the sleek design lines, while the floor plan reveals itself in a continuity constructed in the absence of corridors. Ivan Yurima Architects used rationality to construct the new interior floor plan and functionality was key when designing an open suite of social and private spaces for the modern Kiev apartment. Six rooms and three bathrooms accompany the open living space in providing the young family with all the necessary room to flourish. Quality materials were used to provide each inch with an undeniable elegance, from the imposing TV wall to the neatly organized walk-in-closet.

I wish we knew about this apartment’s closet sooner – it is one that would surely fit a list of 30 Walk-in Closet Ideas for Men Who Love Their Image.
