Lumicor Glacier Ribbon Ceiling Feature is a fully custom piece Lumicor built for the First National Bank building in Detroit, specified by Neumann Smith Architecture. The build required a combination of custom translucent decorative panels using the company’s Oyster Linen custom lighting, and shaping from fabrication to create a structural wave look: “We specifically selected the Oyster Linen to create a natural environment that gives off luxury and relaxation. This installation showcases Lumicor’s ability to produce beautiful art in large spaces transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary ones“, the project developers stated.

With over 250+ décor options to choose from, Lumicor works with architects and designers to create the exact look and feel they are looking for. Each artisan panel is hand crafted using organic material, fabrics and metals from around the globe, creating unique decorative pieces that add an innovative aesthetic to architectural installations. Made from translucent resin, this versatile material can be applied as flat sheets, molded to fit applications or included in the manufacturing of original equipment. The combinations of colors and textures offer an astonishing array of possibilities for creating a distinct and memorable space. [Photos and information provided via e-mail by Lumicor]
