Industrial Design Elements Softened by an Appealing Mix of Textures: Loft 002 in Canada

Located in Toronto’s trendy King West area, Canada, Loft 002 by Toronto-based studio Rad Design Inc is packed full with exciting items which design enthusiasts will probably recognize. The modern apartment is as original as it gets, with its concrete ceilings and exposed pipes, Its industrial design elements are cleverly complemented by a rich palette of materials and textures, for an overall welcoming effect.

From Moooi lighting and Roche Bobois furniture to the Scavolini kitchen and the famous Barcelona chairs, it seems this loft was especially envisioned to show how well these items fit together. Floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom allow natural light inside, enhancing the many interesting texture contrasts this apartment has to offer. As you wander about in its interiors, you will see no square inch was left to chance; every corner is diverse, yet mingles perfectly with the general design scheme.

Wow, this is beautiful! The contrast between the ceiling and the carpets is lovely, the whole place is furnished very tastily in my opinion. And it’s in my town!
