Envisioned by Özhan HAZIRLAR, this complex living room is part of a villa in the Bilkent neighborhood of Ankara, Turkey. Its design blends classic and modern details, employing warm colors, ergonomic furniture and an overall appealing style. Boasting 60 square meters, the living room in the photos below is the core of the 320 square meter Turkish villa. It is also the place where its inhabitants and guests can meet for pleasant conversation.
A variety of materials was employed, resulting in an overwhelming diversity. The already imposing size of the room was taken to another level by mirroring the back wall of the interior, thus enhancing the feeling of space. Large windows allow natural light inside, emphasizing textures. An oval dining table for ten adds up to the elegant, almost royal feel of the place. As if wanting to reduce the overall soberness, the designers opted for an interesting ceiling pattern, visually reducing the scale. [Photos and information provided via e-mail by Özhan HAZIRLAR]
