When it comes to turning the lights on or off, it seems clapping is overrated. Perhaps this is the reason why Niko Mysterious introduced a new and interesting concept: wave control lighting. The idea resulted in an invisible switch that can be camouflaged in any room, its presence being signaled only by a discreet circle. At a distance of 50 cm, the switch edges light up and all you need to activate it is a wave within 10 cm of the switch.
The design is adapted to the rapid changes in the modern lifestyle: ““Our lives are getting busier: People come home after a long day at work and want to be able to relax. That’s why they make more demands of their interiors. An attractive, clean-cut, convenient and flexible design makes living more comfortable and stylish. Mysterious wave control makes life easier. People who come home with their hands full no longer have to press the light switch. They just have to walk by the switch to control the lights, thus enhancing ease of use: they no longer have to put everything down when they come in. The edges of the switches light up subtly in the dark, so the switch is easy to find however dark the room is.”, asserted Luc Meirlaen, Niko’s RandD Manager.
