Feminine Tribute to Recycling: Giant Lipstick by Agne Kisonaite [Video]

We have a soft spot for unthinkable objects used in recycling projects. This Giant Lipstick by artist Agne Kisonaite of Agne Art is an installation made it out of 5000+ used lipstick tubes, measuring a height of 2.5 meters and an overall weight of 200 kilograms. As you can see in the photos below, its size is truly impressive and it doesn’t rank low in aesthetics either.

Overall, we are most impressed with the concept behind this design: “Considering the amount of packaging left which cannot be recycled, I wanted to create something which triggered our society to think more seriously about consumerism and the types of products they are purchasing, and bring attention towards the need to reduce waste“. We have also updated a short presentation video at the end of the post-have a look! [Photos and information provided via e-mail by Agne Kisonaite]
