Located in Östermalm, a central district of Stockholm, this amazing apartment situated on the third floor of a five storey building is an exceptional place for a family. The apartment has it all: an interesting floor plan, contemporary furniture and fun wallpaper. There are endless reasons to love it: from the colour scheme to the elegant wallpaper in the hallway and the playful details like the black, green and white mixture in the living space. Making the most of the available space, the interior designer managed to create a comfortable atmosphere, accentuated by bold furniture items like the golden console table in the hall or the bright yellow cribs in the baby room. For sale at Eklund Stockholm New York, the loft can be used for inspiration for your own lovely living space. Enjoy the photos and expect the best from your home.

I get that winter is long in Sweden, so you’d want a light interior, but don’t the Swedes ever get bored of all this white?
Apparently not Alex.
@Alex
For all you visitors that don’t understand why so many Scandinavian interiors are white; These apartments are for *sale*, research in this market shows that neutral walls attracts more offers. The examples shown here are specifically *styled* to be neutral.
Scandinavians do use other colors than white in our homes, however it certainly is important and pleasing for us to have light interiors due to the dark winters. On the other hand during the summer time we have extremely long, sunny days.
@ Chris
Aha, it makes sense now.
Why are so many Swedish apartments shown lately? There is nothing special about them, they are just ordinary homes staged for a sale. It’s not good that Freshome.com gets spammed with that.
