I would definitely choose a Lowe’s gift card to purchase parts for an interactive coffee table concept I am working on. It requires Plexiglas which can get expensive. As a college student, any discount I can get on supplies and hardware helps.

I Julia and if I could choose just one gift card to have it would most definitely have to be New York and Company. It is my all time favorite clothing store. I could buy my whole wardrobe from them. I have a little story to tell you of how much I love it. Ok so I am walking in the mall with my friends or family and we are talking about this and that, then all of a sudden I see New York and Company so I magically make it into the store with out knocking any one over and start shopping and I never leave the store without giving them at least $50. Other than that I would love the amazon gift card because it is one of my go to site for anything I need to purchase.
Thank you for your time and good luck to everyone.

Since the last two birthdays I’ve had were absolutely abysmal, I suppose I’d have to pick Omaha Steaks as the retailer on the list that I’d most like to have a $100 gift card to – which certainly wouldn’t buy too much there, but if nobody’s going to do my birthday right, I might as well do it myself – no room for an overcooked steak, no sir. Even spending my birthday making a dinner for myself has to be better than ending up at somebody else’s birthday party on your birthday and watching a drunk, deaf girl hang all over your boyfriend. Pff!

    Dear Editor(s) of FresHome,
Well… I’ll be frank with you.
Looking over the rules, my first thought was to choose a gift card idea… and then write an imaginary dream-request. “How I would use a Pier 1 Imports GiftCard to decorate our home.”

As my husband and I ARE in the beginnings of building our first home, this really would be a dream-come-true, and it would be hard to decide which room to lavish attention on.
I would like to spend the money on decor… and some type of fabric treatment. Curtains, drape, pillows, a bedspread or canopy.
But should it be the living room… bedroom… or perhaps, go toward our tea corner in the kitchen?

If I actually had a choice, it would be hard to choose between sewing a canopy & spread, or stocking our special tea cupboard with charming cups and flavorful teas.

Unless… there were Travel gift cards to choose from!
I would be tempted to splurge in scuba supplies, or airplane tickets for my husband and I.
Oh, to snorkel above tropical corals and brightly painted fish…

As it is, “life” intervenes: if I had a $100 it would go towards purchasing a much-needed Nikon SB600 flash.
My cousin has asked me to do the photography for her wedding this spring, and I have been researching flashes this week. Three months after her wedding, I have another wedding … both ‘for free’.

So. That is what I would buy.

Ideally the Kohl’s gift card would be lovely from a fashionable standpoint, but I am in college so…The Barnes and Nobel gift card to use towards my textbooks! A college student has more “style” elbow room for calling vintage second-hand fashionable, anyway.

On a saturday morning, i wake up, dress with the freshest wear I just got from AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS, slip in my new sneakers that i bought at FOOTLOCKER, and walk to MCDONALDS, where I’m having my breakfast with my friends Michael and Joe, before I continue my day with hunting in the forest with my new equipment from BASSPRO together with my mates. In a break, we enjoy our meal at APPLEBEE’S, where I meet my girlfriend, who tells me that we’re together for three years that day and gifts me a game she bought at GAMESTOP, because she knows I like vidya. Unfortunally I had forgotten to buy her something in return, but luckily I find that coupon for AMC THEATRES in my pocket, so we go watch a great movie that night. On the way she asks me why I’m still wearing that hunting equipment and invites me to MENS WEARHOUSE to buy me some cool suits, since she had another 100$ gift card for it. I accept and told her that I’ve got a good friend working at SEPHORA, who told me that I could buy some cosmetics for my girlfriend with one of the coupons you could buy at GIFTCARDRESCUE.COM without paying too much. She was so happy that night and even talks about having a child with me, so we both went to TOYS R US and browsed through all the toys for children, thinking about what we would buy when we had a boy or a girl together.
After the movie we start making out at my place when she suddenly interrupts us, because her watch from ZALES reminds her that on saturday night VICOTRIA’S SECRET is on televison, the only actual show she was watching – because of all the nice dresses she says.
What a day! Well, I use the delivery service of STEAK N SHAKE and enjoy the new game from GAMESTOP.
Yep, ladies and gentlemen, this saturday showed me that GIFTCARDRESCUE is everywhere! It does not only make your life so much easier but also so much CHEAPER!

As unglamorous as it sounds, I would have to say Sports Authority, Champs or Footlocker. I have burned a hole in the back of my tennis shoes – which has given me a great excuse to cut back on my workouts. But with my two best friends getting married in a few months, I need to get into perfect shape for the ‘lovely’ bridesmaid dresses I’ll be wearing. The $100 will cover a nice pair of new tennis shoes and I’ll be back to my daily workouts with some extra spring in my step.

Always a Bridesmaid never a Bride… nonetheless I will be a fit hot looking bridesmaid!

I would just love to have a card from Kohl’s and be able to go into the bedding department and purchase a new colorful bedspread along with the matching drapes. Then once added to my room, I could cuddle up in bed and have pleasant dreams of truly fantastic room designs as shown in my daily e-mails from Freshome. Those pictures are truly inspirational and really fulfill fantasies that I can only dream about. I’m on SSDI and that budget really doesn’t go far. I try to do the best I can with what I have. My couch is from 1963 and the bedroom dresser and set of drawers is also from the early 60′s. I can really use money to help me put a dent in my dreams.

I’ll pick Amazon and I will buy books. You see, where I live there’s no bookstores near. I don’t know where people here buy their books, for real. The nearest one is like an hour away; that will be Borders. And because I live in Puerto Rico, there were only like 3 stores, and 2 of them are closing down! If I want to keep reading, it would be to be buying from Amazon. It doesn’t even have to be a $100 gift card, it could be less. Not even Walmart has the books I read here! Can you believe this? I depend a lot on Amazon, haha.

to air out. But, the stain, now a funny yellowish orange, is set in. There is also a small stain where a passing bird took aim, when it was on the deck. I can feel it when I am sleeping. I would buy a new comforter. And not let sick doggies on it. Or wild birds go, you know, on it.

March 11, 2011 for sure!! I have a wish list a mile long on there, plus most items come with free shipping and no sales tax, you can’t beat that! I would be putting that $100 towards a Flip video camera, I desperately need one to capture these precious moments of babies. =)

I would choose Lucky Brand Jeans – obviously, want to look good in what you’re wearing (but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to do so!)

Cool giveaway. I’d get my daughter a Justice gift card so that we can get her fresh new spring clothes to replace the ones she’s outgrown during the past year.

My older daughter is currently studying nursing in college and is doing so well with her studies, I would love to get her a card to her favorite clothes store as a reward. She loves American Eagle Outfitters.

If I won a gift card to Lowe’s
It would go towards our new house woes.
    ‘Tis a small complaint
    But we need to repaint
O’er the godawful colors they chose!

Hello, I would like a Amazon gift card. My 7 children have been begging me for expensice Games, MP3 players, and Clothes. But I cannot afford all these expensive items. Winning an Amazon gift card would really be a big help, and bring me some relief. I don’t have a high paying job, so thats another reason why I would love to have this card. Even if I don’t win this card I would still like to reffer people to this page to make this website gain more popularity. In addition, if I don’t win this card and it goes to someone else, congrats to you!!!!

    Thank you.

At first, it would have been no question: the Gymboree card. I have two kids. They grow out of clothes so quickly, so I can never justify actually *buying* anything from Gymboree. But I still love the clothes they make… I mean, what parent doesn’t, right? They just come up with the most adorable stuff. But then I thought, wait a second. What would *I* buy with a gift card? Well, I would/should buy something for me. Every time I go shopping to treat myself, I come back with stuff for my kids. So, I would get a gift card for Lucky Brand Jeans, and I would stock up on Lola skinny jeans. Because I want them. In fact, I have decided I am going to go and do that without the gift card.

    That was liberating :)

If I could have a $100 gift card from any of the retailers on, I’d choose Bed Bath & Beyond. As much as I’d love to spend it on clothes or books, I just found out I’m going to move across the country and I won’t be able to take anything with me, not even my bed. I’ll have to start over, and I know I’ll definitely need to begin a new life with necessities like beddings, cookware and small appliances. I’ll have to take things one step at a time and this would be a great way to do it.

I’d get a Lowe’s Gift Card. Last year my nephew received a chick for Easter. Personally, I’m not a fan of giving animals as gifts without careful consideration of the child’s age and maturity. But, his extended family thought it would be cute to include a chick in his Easter Basket.
Nephew adored the chick on the first day, but predicably lost interest as the chick lost his yellow fuzz and his adult plumage and ornery temperment grew in.
Nephew’s mom was not amused by the chick’s inability to be house trained.
Before long, the poor thing ended up in the garage with little intereaction. My DH and I are animal lovers and whenever we’d visit we’d play with Ollie (the chick), and even fostered him at our home for a time. But, whenever we brought up adopting Ollie, nephew would get upset and say it was HIS chicken (even though he’s rather play on his PS3 than with Ollie).
There wasn’t much we could do to help Ollie. Until recently, when we received a call that Ollie gotten out and pecked apart her flower beds and scratched up their lawn. They’d had enough, and asked if we would still like to adopt Ollie.
DH went right over, and picked up Ollie. She’s in our basement right now. We’ve had her three days now, and she is a joy. I swear, she has the same emotional range as a dog, and she loves to cuddle! I guess this is because they’re social animals?
Anyway, I if I were to win a Lowe’s card I would use it to buy materials to build a chicken coop for Ollie. I think she would enjoy being outside in a spacious coop, where she could enjoy scratching for grubs and seeds in the sunshine.

I hope I win and thanks for the opportunity!

I would choose the Steak and Shake card for my upcoming trip to Transylvania. Mind you, I have no idea if they have Steak and Shakes there. I’m not even entirely sure what a Steak and Shake is. A Restaurant I guess? Anyway, I’m making the trip to end a centuries old curse brought upon my family by a particularly evil vampire. I have practiced my entire life for this trip, for one chance to end this affliction, but no matter how hard I’ve studied, how hard I’ve trained, I still find difficulties remembering the final steps on how to destroy this creature of the night. If I could have that gift card in my billfold to remind as I stand over the casket in the blaring midday sun, palms sweating, heart cold- first drive the Stake, then Shake the holy water.

Then as I stand there, the weight of the curse finally lifted, the knowledge that my family has finally found peace… I dunno, I guess I could go get a steak or something. Maybe a shake to top it off.
