    Very nice!!!
I spot many Ikea items in this apartment. Does anyone know if the hanging cabinet in the 7th, 8th, 9th picture is an Ikea item – and/where where its from?

It seems white is the what Swedes like for decorating, possibly to help add brightness to their northern latitude, but it’s not for me. I prefer natural materials and colours of the earth to make my home warm and comfortable. With all the snow I have outside, I want warmth inside my home. All that while makes me think of an institution.

to add to my previous comments, after reviewing the apartment again, this apartment isn’t as “white” as many that have been shown on this site. It’s too bad the wood floors couldn’t have been continued through the whole apartment. All those white walls are still a personal turn-off.

I love all the white. It makes it seem so light and fresh and airy…and clean. I’ve always wanted to paint my hardwoods white, but here in the south it’s considered a sin and I’d probably never be able to sell my house. I love that they used a soft gray desk, demilune table, and mirror in there with that beautiful wallcovering. The foyer is beautiful as well- the tile at the entrance is quite lovely and charming. I love the kitchen- the wood on the cabinet facings is stunning in a very pure and simple way. I must say that the living room is my favorite, though. I love that they used two Eames rockers- there’s something very comforting about gently rocking back and forth and what great chairs to do it in! I also love that they used sort of a river stone color palette in here with all the white. I think if I were to come home to this every day, I would be able to leave all my stress and troubles outside. It’s a very soothing and refreshing space, like it would enable you to re-charge, wind down, and completely escape from the rest of the world.

Wow – that IKEA PS MASKROS pendant light in the living room gets everywhere!

Personally, I love the white walls and there seems to be enough colour in the assorted objets to soften the look.
