Barcelona is definitely where it’s at, especially if we are talking about architecture. House C was designed by Spanish studio RTA-office and is a spectacular two-storey residence located in the Catalan capital. Composed of uneven volumes joined by glass partitions, some of which are cantilevered, the overall appearance of the residence is highly original and daring. The roofs have various slopes and which define each different volume. Large floor to ceiling windows ensure a good indoor/outdoor connection and every room is thus opened towards the environment, receiving a large amount of natural daylight. The interiors are truly breathtaking, featuring unusual-built walls and plenty of elements that disrupt any symmetry. With everything painted in white, all the rooms look immaculate. An impressive pool seems perfectly integrated in the geometry of the building and contributes to its dramatic look. -via Designboom
