Cushions on a Pedestal Inspired by Oriental Traditions

Cushions side by side, stories one after another. This is the motto for an original collection of upholstered furniture designed by Jehs-Laub for COR and entitled Jalis, which in translation means ‘hospitality and relaxed communication”. Designed in a highly contemporary spirit, the creative set takes fluffy giant pillows and places them where they belong: up on pedestals. Within the comfort of many cushions, one can only feel relaxed and protected. And what better environment for socializing than a cozy room filled with bouncy pillows located around a central table filled with hot coffee or tea? The set could fairly compete against a common sofa and is easy to integrate in any free-spirit modern living room. What do you think of this unusual communication delegate?- via DigsDigs

Looks good, but what is it going to look like after 6 months of use? And really who can sit that low?
