Crawford Partnership is a London based architecture company whose projects include this creative modern residence extension in London. The idea of complementing an existing structure with a new, contemporary-looking one not only solves the problem of extra space but also creates architectural value. This particular addition houses a dining room, an open kitchen, a bedroom and an office. Quite ingenious- who wouldn’t want a completely open kitchen towards the inside yard ? The materials used were glass and and a very durable type of building panels. The extension has many windows, creating an indoor open space that manages to communicate with the exterior.
