Decorating A Small Apartment : Not So Difficult After All

This beautiful small apartment in the images below only has one room and an area of no more than 17 sq meters. What the interior designers did with this place is absolutely fabulous. This small studio is not only very practical, but also looks modern, inviting and original. The white walls and large window give the much needed feeling of space. Because the ceiling is located very high, a bedroom was improvised. There is plenty of available storage space and if you check out the pictures patiently, you will notice many ingenious lockers. The wooden ladder gives a genuine warm feel and could also offer access to the book shelves. In these decorative circumstances, the living room also becomes a dining room and a bedroom. But even so, the place looks airy and everything is a display of good taste.-via Alvhem

What’s that thing on the kitchenette counter? Is that some sort of stove situation? I just moved into a similarly small loft, and the one amenity missing is a goddamn stove.

I’m thoroughly impressed with the information on this website! I live in a house that was built in 1940, is less 1000 sq ft and has 8 rooms (dining, living 2 1/2 beds, bath, kitchen and enclosed back porch). They call them shotgun houses (if you open the front & back door, you shoot straight through the house, lol) I’m doing all I can to keep from drowning in this space. I left a 1 bedroom apt bigger than this house. Thank you so much for the info. )

Nice to see a realistic decoration, not the usual empty kitchen with a nice asparagus over the counter.
Only one thing. I’, not sure if it’s a perspective thing, but that garbage can seems to be too far away from the toilet… and the book over it would not help its usability either
