Called 111 Navy Chair, the project is a collaboration between Emeco, known for aluminium furniture, and drinks brand Coca-Cola. What’s interesting about this project is that this chair is made made of 111 recycled plastic cola bottles, a great example initiated by Coca-Cola. Each chair is made of a mix of 60 percent PET plastic (recycled polyethylene terephthalate plastic) and a special combination of other materials, which includes pigment and glass fiber for strength. Carrying a five-year structural guarantee, the navy chair is available in six colors of Red, Snow, Flint Gray, Grass Green, Persimmon and Charcoal. The chair launched in Milan and will be sold exclusively through Design Within Reach.

We like the concept. What happens to it after 5 years? How much will it cost? We think the key to making this stuff more commonplace is keeping it affordable for everyone. If they can do this at ikea prices, more power to them!
I very much agree with the previous comment. I really like the idea of recycling, but the trick to keeping a product like this going is to make it affordable. People like recycling and the ecology, but they also like keeping a few bucks in their pocket as well!
