From Rick Joy Architects, the Woodstock Farm is located in a fabulous location n Vermont, USA. Built from shingle and stone and with a spectacular view of the near by lake and green areas, this place can remind one of childhood fairy tales or dream-like mountain landscapes. Still, the Woodstock Farm is as real as it gets. Built as a family home and as a holiday escape, the building is sustainable and even houses some 200 years old stone walls found on the project site. Aside from the main construction, there is a large guesthouse available, for accommodating visitors. The interior features wood and stone finishes which contribute to a genuine natural feel. -via Digs Digs

This house has all the things I love: Clean modern aesthetic, appropriate use of natural/local materials, windows! windows! windows!, handcrafted touches (hammered light fixtures in the kitchen), and a design that’s in sync with the location. I’m ready to move in!
