Interesting Looking Bookcase for A Creative Living Room

Interesting Looking Bookcase for A Creative Living Room

Books bring a very special feeling to a place and if you think about it, they also offer nobility. We are major book fans here and up to now, we tried to find interesting storage places for them. Recently we’ve ran across yet another great design for a bookcase. We know you might not remember this, but this is quite similar to another post that we had published on Freshome a while ago.  It is a design that brakes the usual pattern of books on horizontal shelves and brings something new to the table. It is also very aesthetic and practical. You could use each shelf for a particular letter of the alphabet in order to find the books a lot easier. For a residence that has a lot of living space, a whole room could be used in this manner. We imagine it would be a great place for reading and relaxation. What do you think?

A very interesting design. I liked it in your previous post as well. I am thinking of using it for my study cum library but the only concern is that I would like to have atleast a part of it closed. Do you have any suggestions on how this design can be modified to incorporate a closed portion as well?

I’ve been here. It is the library of the Viceroy in Santa Monica CA. Beautiful in pictures, but even more so in person. Even the carpet is amazing.

I think i’ve seened this but i can’t remember anyway this bookcase is quite elegant and i’m thinking about what if they just remove the lower part of the bookcase because it’s looks like shoes case when you extend the shelves downward and the books are can easily get dirty coz it’s closer to the floor. The theme is good, the design, color and texture. Good work!

This is great! I have 7 (count em!) large bookcases in the living room of my 720 sq ft apartment and this would look really cool. Don’t know how practical it would be, but definitely eye-catching.

I’ll have to wait until IKEA makes a less expensive knock-off!

I’ve seen this bookshelf on this show called Moonlight. It is amazing. Where can we get it?

It seems really practical. The theme is good, and the quality of the work also. Good design!
Here is a post where you can see other kind of bookcases or libraries:
