Decorative Christmas Items: Exotic Plants Inside Glass Bulbs

Share |

It’s up to you if you decide to associate the exotic plants in the pictures below with harmony, peace and other things they may stand for, but we would just like to present these transparent bulbs as fun and subtle Christmas decorative items. They are being sold on-line at  Land Rich, for the price of 10$ (or 14$ if you decide to go for a larger version). The plants inside are dried in advance and carefully placed inside. Yarrow, moss, salal and tallow were some of the herbs used, along with little twigs and preserved leaves. You have to admit the idea behind them is pretty cool and not to mention original.  We think they would fit great in any Christmas tree, increasing the nice and warm feeling that it brings to a home. How do you like them?

I’m not sure those would stand out against a Christmas tree-y background, really. But they are pretty enough on their own.

I think they are very beatiful. But I think I would hang them in some simple twigs painted in white instead, or as a group in a corner of my bedroom!

I never thought that exotic plants can be used as stylish and decorative ornaments during the Christmas season. The idea you shared on this post is refreshing and different. And based on the photos here, I think it’s good as well if they will be incorporated with some designs on glass and maybe a good lighting to even create magical effects. Thanks for this one.
