Tyler Residence in Biloxi, Mississippi

Raising 12 feet above the ground, this property’s architecture plan was not so easy to develop, due to the fact that the house is located on the Gulf Coast, a rather hostile terrain for high buildings. However, the project by Marlon Blackwell was finished nonetheless with remarkable results. The materials involved in the construction were chosen and tested in order to have a high level of resistance. The columns and stairs are made of steel and there is an inside storage room made of concrete.  We also enjoy how the building looks on the outside, taking into consideration its unusual shape and giant windows. We are looking forward to your opinions!

Awesome, I am especially impressed by the window grills to protect in case of storms. I would love to know how cost effective this is. It looks great. Has it been tested yet? Its what I would spend my money on if I lived in the Gulf area. Forget those matchstick houses. Build mine out of Concrete!
