Sometimes I just want to want to work attentively without any disturbance, and the Rewrite Desk designed by GamFratesi is an awesome place to take your productivity to another level. This desk was awarded with Denmark’s Walk the Plank Award 2009 for excellence and craftsmanship in furniture. Showcased at GamFratesi’s solo show at The Danish Museum of Art and Design, the workstation features a cave-like shield that installs a big screen, upholstered and covered with textile to highlight its visual and acoustic aspects, so it can be used as a satellite desk wherever you like. The workstation by the Copenhagen-based designer combines the traditional form with modern technology, while a white lacquered metal box hides all the cables underneath the table, allowing a clutter-free workspace on the table. – Via – Dezeen

Where can I purchase one of these?
I’m moving into apartment, and I’m thinking something like this would be a good project desk to airbrush with(since it’d get on the interior of the “cave” rather than..well, everywhere else.)
Aaron, you can try to contact GamFratesi and ask them on how you can get one of these. The link to their website is in the post.
Interesting concept but for me it would be too small, as a designer I need huge table to spread sketches around me when designing. This would be great for bloggers/writers.
agree with zampik completely….. it would just b too congested and limited..wen m designing i usually prefer bein messy n spread my things all around until i get a good one in ma head….
