“5 Star” Stunning Home By The River

Located by the Chelmer river in Essex, England, this project belongs to architect Ian Mitchell and is a display of opulence, style and sustainability.  Elegant timber stares connect the three levels of the house and all the rooms have high ceilings, giving the impression of space. The luxurious house has four king-size  bedrooms, four bathrooms, a two car garage and a separate entertainment area which features an infinity swimming pool.  Extra storage rooms are also available. Incredible. Looks like something in Florida, rather than Essex, England!

This house is, in fact, not in England but on the Brisbane River at Chelmer in Brisbane, Australia.

Annie, you are right, this house is in Brisbane. Still a nice house though.

I was about to say I’ve never been to that part of Essex – it looks amazing. Then I read the comments and it is actually Brisbane :) Nice house though – fantastic design.

I could have done without the snooker table – and I wonder why they didn’t have wet rooms, rather than the glass-cubicled showers.

Fitting title “Dream Homes” .. absolutely stunning architecture. Breathtaking settings. I’m dreaming alright!

I thought something didn’t look right about the palm trees…

Stunning interior and architecture, as mentioned by others.

Snooker- each to their own, but perhaps it would have been better in a separate games room rather than one of the living rooms?
