Home Living Room Expanding TV Screen

Expanding TV Screen

We all dream about that huge TV screen that would take over our room and give us the perfect cinema-like experience. But too bad that  idea usually conflicts with the lack of space. Here’s an ingenious solution for this problem: the TV wall unit from Acerbis. Make your living room a home cinema by simply adding this flexible unit with a concealed projector screen inside. You can now watch your favorite TV shows at the image quality  you’ve always dreamed of. Adjust the unit for getting the proper dimensions. After that, all you have to do is  sit back, relax, grab some popcorn and enjoy the show. For information about purchasing this product, you can get in contact with the manufacturers here.

    What we’d like to see is a website that shows pictures of furnished rooms (eg living room), but begin with selecting the SHAPE of your room (eg square, oblong, L shaped), HOW BIG the room is (fit one sofa, three piece suite, two settees, etc), then WHERE THE WINDOW IS (eg long side wall, short end wall).

    When this information is inputted, we could now look at plans/designs that fit out own rooms.

    This would be far more practical than searching through pictures of beautiful designs that won’t work in our particular shaped room, our sized room, and where the window is.

    Finally, for most people, the TV is a focal point in most living rooms, and all the furniture is positioned around the TV. And where a fire/fireplace is present (as apposed to a radiator), this will affect the position of the TV and the furniture!

    So if you leave out these items (TV/fire), the whole design has little meaning for many of us!

    I have just come across this site and so far have found it informative and interesting.
    I have to agree with some of the points that John Webb stated, but I also have to say that this is just a brilliant concept in order to have a home theater. As we can see one will need a large room in order to actually have this, and as John mentioned what about a fire place, one cant have both in the room and them both being the focal point in a room like this.

    @john webb
    just browse the interiors and create one of your own.
    if you want a project for your home, either you pay for the designer, either work for it from what you get. say thanks you even get that much inspiration for free!!!
    and design IS IMPORTANT, maybe it´s just too much for you to understand or to care…
    this kind of feedback is useful for the designers (especially the students!) and the market.
    if you´re not interested, just move on!
