This gorgeous red-white themed apartment in Tel Aviv is a sight for sore eyes. Though only 80 sqm big, it surely gives an impression of a big studio-like flat, with glass walls to separate the rooms, slim closets and folding doors adding to the effect. Highly modern and roomy, the flat’s stunning style in which red is added to the whole décor – the furniture, the bed, or the two sides of bedroom wall – surely spices up the whole environment and adds to its elegance. Looks awesome! We wouldn’t have anything against moving in! – via

Sleek in design and clean in implementation, Argentinean designer Gabriel Contino has devised an amazing plate for eating while standing up. The plate is designed almost like a wide cup to hold in your hand, with a holder for a glass of wine on the front so that you can manipulate your way casually across the party floor without spilling a drop. What is sort of funny about these plates is that (essentially) someone would be able to hold two at a time. Imagine your butler walking around with two plates of hors d’oeuvres and fresh glasses of Beaujolais nouveau! Will you look more debonair with Contino’s plates? Will your dinner party have something everyone can use to break the ice? Will you suddenly be the slickest dinner host in town? Yes, on all counts. – via

Designed by talented architects from Ong & Ong from Singapore, Casa Blair Road is a stunning, truly breathtaking property — with everything designed to perfection. With white walls, white marble floors, the lovely white designer chairs and white and brown coffee mugs giving it perfect color sync, the house charms with its amazing white theme. And if you consider the beautiful mountains in the background that add a tinge of freshness, Casa Blair Road is an architectural masterpiece that we wouldn’t mind moving in. A dream home, indeed.

Reflecting the way in which stone is developed from thousands of layers of earth movement, James Douglas’s LumBar stool is a striking chair design that would be a very powerful accent for organic spaces (especially homes with attached bar sections). Developed from stacked CNC-cut plywood around a single 12mm steel bar, the LumBar stool appears almost dangerous in how it is strangely reminiscent of the edges of the Grand Canyon, the sides of steeply sliced waterfalls in Venezuela or crumbling desert rock formations in Jordan. This stool would be an amazing accent in wide organic spaces that use a lot of natural materials and colors. As its made of plywood, it would be great to see a designer use this for an outdoor bar or lounge. Finally I don’t think that is to comfortable and I can’t believe one can be sitting there for a long time without a cushion.
