It is very useful, but I honestly feel it is overpriced and has a lot of problems: - The system is slow. The controller is pretty, but the interface is kludgy and SLOW. It really feels like 2005 technology. (I have heard there is actually a better Sonos controller you can get as free app for your iPhone, but I haven't tried this.) - Customer support is poor. The system offered me a free upgrade to my firmware, not bothering to tell me that the upgrade would not work with the version of MacOS I had. There was no way to downgrade, and my Mac wouldn't support the newer OS. In other words, Sonos essentially forced with no warning an upgrade that made Sonos unusable on the computer I owned. I ended up buying a newer Mac, which had been on my todo list anyways, but certainly wouldn't have happened then. Their customer support on this issue was basically non-existant. So the system is useful and cool, but does not have the level of support I might expect in this price range. I can't strongly recommend it. I own a Sonos system.
