Revealed at this year’s New York Design Week, Phillipe Starck’s ShowerCollection is literally the rain shower of your dreams. Designed from building blocks to be easy to both use and install in your bathroom, the blocks can be individually mixed and matched to anyone’s preference. Very cyberprep-inspired in appearance, the module is free of any innecessary or gaudy frills and is shiny and efficiently mechanical in design. But the best part of this design is the shower itself, which falls onto the bather like rain water. Although this may not be the most environmentally-friend or water-efficient design of all time, it’s definitely one of the coolest and one of the few that makes me want to purchase it in a last-minute impulse buy. An impulse buy that I would absolutely not regret, by the way. – via

Amazing design. I would love one in my bathroom. I currently have
LineaAqua Pisces steam shower and its great, but this looks and
feels like a nicer and better shower.
I really dig the curvilinear style of the AquaLinea steam showers, and I think that your shower has an advantage with the hydromassage jets alone. On the other hand, the actual design of Phillip Stark’s shower has the advantage of being able to be more easily customized into your bathroom. AquaLinea’s steam shower designs sort of remind me of that teleportation chamber from “The Fly.”
As a strict shower, I think I’d prefer the Stark design, but for people who want to mix things up the AquaLinea seems like the way to go.
