Stockholm-based designers at Greatboys sure have what it takes to come up with a creative piece of furniture. Apparently they’ve released a desk dubbed “Shade” that uses the classic plastic shades as center stage. A clean minimalist design that looks modern enough for any interior, the 1.8 m long by 0.50 m in height and 0.40 m deep piece of furniture is both functional and appealing at the same time. I’d sure make room for something like that in my home. – via

I’m pretty sure that you’ve noticed that big orange button from the left sidebar that says “Subscribe to RSS“. For those of you who are not subscribed yet to Freshome RSS Feed you can do it immediately just by clicking that button. Today inspired by these Web 2.0 technologies ( like RSS ) I’ve found two products : The RSS Icon Pillow and the Large RSS Lamp Shade. The people who designed these products maybe thought that web 2.0 is becoming bigger and bigger everyday …and why not …let’s target the web 2.0 users by creating a few products that they might like.
This cozy pillow is made with the softest fleece and filled with the fluffiest polyester filling to make it perfectly squeezable yet firm. You can get the RSS Icon Pillow for just $15 from here.
For those of you who are interested in a RSS inspired lampshade you can get this product from here for $70. – Via -

Sebastian Wrong and Richard Woods are the guys behind these wicked sofas and chairs. Dubbed “Bricks & Mortar” for reasons you can obviously understand, because of the upholstery print the two furniture pieces lack the contemporary and seem uninvitingly hard. But that definitely changes once you settle down in comfort. Designed for British furniture company Established & Sons, they may not be perfect for your modern environment but sure add a tinge of exclusivity if you like things “raw”. – via

Well, I have to admit that this is a really cool idea. From the first time I’ve saw this design I’ve thought that these seats will be awesome in a bar, and everybody will come to play with them. Based on the old toy weebles, this seats will rock, but never fall down. The stool “headstand” is based upon the principal of a skipjack and offers dynamic seating. Headstand turns the common ludo-pawn upside down in a surprising manner due to a unusual balance point. Not only a stool but also an object. Finally would you go to a bar with this kind of stools ? – Via – Curbly
