Hunn Wai’s PING-PONG Dining Table

If you’re looking for an exceptionally elegant home dining and entertaining experience, this PING-PONG table designed by Hunn Wai combines smooth, heavy planes with the Rococo ordainments of 18th century neo-classical furniture.  Both a stylish dining table and an officially-sized ping-pong table, the long, rectangular blossom-filled vase that divides the center can serve as either a charming table floral arrangement or the net for an especially grandiose game of table tennis.  When the dining centerpiece of your home is ordained with gold-lacquered Rococo ornamentation and ping-pong iconography, you should insist on more parties in formal wear.  In fact, only visitors in formal wear should ever be allowed to eat or play at your table.  Really, it’s an issue of design-consistency. – Via

Located on a wide, open and inviting 80 acre fertile farmland in Los Banos, California, the Fawcett House is a chic modern home with interiors styled in a contemporary fashion. Despite its setting that reminds you of the old west (though in a lot greener and cultivated version), the home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright was first conceived in 1961. Open for sale as we speak, the 3,800 square feet house has six bedrooms, four and a half baths, dining, kitchen, a walk-in living room fireplace, a three-car carport and even a Japanese garden with a Koi pond and waterfall.Your very own waterfall that is. – via

A Girls Touch: Crafting a Chic Living Space in Just 43 sqm

It is amazing how some people can take a seemingly cramped space and turn it into a perfectly good and even astoundingly beautiful living space. This fine home in Gothenburg uses the limited space on offer to the hilt and yet never looks crowded or overdone at any point. The feminine-looking home uses subtly demarcated areas by fitting a bed in a hidden corner of the living room, a cool kitchen with integrated dining space and a sink. The use of three different colors of wallpapers with lovely prints not only accentuates the beauty of the home further, but clearly defines each given space. With modern and ergonomic furniture use and with creative decorating, the 43 square meters on offer look amply sufficient. Isn’t it? – via

Ocean Front Residence in West Vancouver: A culmination of the warm and cool

Designed by Grant + Sinclair Architects and featured on the prestigious Canadian ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN magazine, the ocean front residence steals your heart with a bundle of lovely contradictions. Apart from a fantastic view of the ocean through a retractable door that leads to the exterior pool, the pool itself gives the home a very relaxed and ultra-cool look. Then you step into the sumptuous interiors that exude cozy warmth with the usage of Beechwood floor and ceiling, Pennsylvania bluestone walls and excellent use of glass. Apart from the visual grandeur and the apparent aesthetics, the home also is highly energy efficient with a geothermal system, solar panels for energy, and rainwater harvesting system in place. Makes you a tad bit jealous of the lucky ones who call the Ocean Front Residence their home!

Stripes & curves, When your world turns to black and white

If you are under the illusion that this is a set out of the 101 Dalmatians flick, then you could be forgiven for feeling so. Conceived and given shape by interior designer Tom Atwood, these absolutely stunning interiors try to capture the beauty of modern minimalist design and style by using various shapes, patterns, curves and stripes etched in nothing but just black and white. Even the staircase keep the contrast, along with uber-cool rugs and bars on the ceiling. The ambience and the beauty created by the harmonious existence of vast dissimilarity in shades, are truly inspirational.
