Here is a tip to help you figure out what size an artwork should be for a particular space. Take a piece of colored wrapping paper or newspaper and cut it to the size you think the artwork should be and tape it to your wall. You will see instantly if it suits the space and should be either bigger or smaller. This also works when trying to choose a size for a kitchen backsplash.
