When you live in a very small place the space is premium, and a piece of multifunctional furniture is pure gold. Designer Akemi Tanaka came up with a wonderful modular piece of home furniture that is perfect for small space apartments. This piece of furniture is called the “Futaba” coffee table, and as you can see from the pictures attached bellow this coffee table can turn into a love seat when needed. This modular coffee table/love seat is available from Bobby Berk Home for $4,750, I can say that is quite expensive especially for someone who lives in a small place. – Via – 1, 2

I’m not sure if its meant to resemble one, but this reminds me of
a snooker/pool table.
You can get a separate coffee table and loveseat for that price.
You’d think that since it takes up less space and less material to make it would be cheaper.
Just love furniture with multiple uses. Maybe because my house is a bit small and I need so few furnitures as possible.
It’s ok to have a comment.
crative idea and ergonomics design. But its absolutely outrageously outrageous of a price for something someone who lives in a small space to afford.
If fabric was nicer and cushioning more luxurious, plus timber not so ugly this would be a great idea.
