Level 5 by Paula Scher

Share |

This dressing wall created by Paula Scher is something really creative. I have to admit that I love this idea and if I would live at the 5th floor I’ll definitely apply it. This idea is better, highly visible and more unique than the small sign on the wall. Some people might now see the number 5 from the first glance, but after a few seconds it will finally appear and amaze those who were “blind” before. – Via

This design and implementation is part of Pentagram’s interior signage and wayfinding system for 731 Lextington Ave in NYC. The overall signage package for this building is quite remarkable and a very nice departure from the traditional.
