The Ivy Lamp is what you might call an organic lamp because it combines a lighting fixture with a potted plant. The combination of an ivy climbing up a LED light is beautiful as the light appears to make the plant glow. The plain light fixture is placed in a flower pot which is then filled with soil before the ivy is planted. What’s more, the fixture is modular, allowing the user to customize the shape by connecting the components as they wish.
The Ivy Lamp was created by Izabela Cichecka & Marcela Kawka who wanted to combine two very dissimilar worlds – nature with technology. They succeeded by a large margin! – Via
