We’ve featured LEGO inspired furniture in the past. Now you can add even more LEGO to your living space! This latest wall mounted radiator is from the Italian radiator company, Scirocco. It looks just like a giant form of the best-selling children’s toy. It’s not just a colorful wall radiator design - in terms of function, the LEGO radiator is actually thermally efficient as the round raised areas of the radiator helps dissipate the heat quickly.

Each coloured block can be snapped together with others as it comes with a double connection – one for the plumbing and the other for a physical connection. You get to “play” with mixing and matching the colours just like the real LEGO blocks! – Via

The Balmoral is a private residence with a beautifully structured interior that is very elegantly furnished with most of the interior decorations using a black and white tone in all its rooms, creating a relaxing comfortable atmosphere. The same thing happens in the bedroom – extending to a green terrace, which looks simple in appearance yet comfortable in feeling.

With the sitting area blending the two shades, a trendy black bath tub along with a cubicle shower in the bathroom and a very trendy kitchen highlighted with a lot of white, the whole Balmoral Residence was meant to please.

Talking about the kitchen it has some of the most modern equipments, a huge white work table in the centre and a black dining table and chairs giving the right contrast to the pure whiteness of the kitchen. The architectural symmetry is balanced by the abstract setting of the interior and the whole interior is an embodiment of both comfort and elegance. The whole thing is by VanessaHadaway. As the world fights to take a grasp of the global financial situation, the Middle East churns out one big construction project after the other. The Leed Platinum Twin Eco Towers to be built in Abu Dhabi was revealed during Cityscape last week.

The 23 storey building – supposedly known as the Eco Towers will be built with a Leed Platinum certification and is being structured by Connection Real Estate for a budget of $245 million. The two towers, one of which will be for commercial use while the other will be used for residential purposes, will be built on a pedestal housing a grand shopping plaza.

Solar power, air purification systems, natural green terraces, toxic free materials, effective insulation, an abundance of natural light, easy access to several local services and many more exceptional features will give the Twin Towers a perfect quality LEED certificate. The project is another step towards the green revolution and I must say it looks amazing. – via JetsonGreen

The Mushroom Lamp is a glowing feat of technology. But it’s not the power efficient LEDs that will stretch the life of the 4AA battery power supply that has us impressed. It’s the lawsuit-avoiding tech of unlicensed merchandise. Clearly reminiscent of the mushrooms floating around in Nintendo’s famous Mario Bros. This lamp is available at $12 from here. – Via

We have featured skateboard furniture before but the Deckstool is different. The stools are made from old skateboards which otherwise would have gone to the landfills. Jason Podlaski (US) has transformed what were once battered and scarred street toys into trendy furniture. The scratched deck designs have given his stools an aged look - in a good way.

The designer got his idea when his brother asked him to convert a pile of broken skateboards into furniture. Podlaski noticed that the majority of the skateboards broke just at one end. About a quarter of the decks broke in half. So he used the long pieces to form the legs of the stool and the half decks became the seats. The Deckstool is ideal for bedrooms, dorm rooms and apartments. – Via
