The Grandbazaar Sofa is an authentic oriental product, designed by the Turkish design brand Maybe Design and featured at the recent Vienna Design Week. I don’t know why they labeled this product a sofa, because it looks more like a flying carpet or like a bench. Although it looks fragile, it can apparently carry very heavy weights.

i like this idea quite a bit — just a note though- i dont think oriental rugs come from Turkey (i believe thats Persian rugs [on account of proximity to Iran])
