Contemporary House in Sydney : Australia

Found over Contemporist this recently completed 3 bedroom/3 bathroom home in the Sydney suburb of Avalon doesn’t look to impressive from outside, but the interesting part is the inside of the house, that I can say is really beautiful. From the outside the house also doesn’t look to big, but when you take a look at the pictures from inside I don’t know why but everything looks very large ..maybe is the minimalistic style, or maybe because of those huge windows. The Strip Bathtub : A Strip of Material Seeming Laid Over the Bathtub

The Strip Bathtub from Belgium bathroom products manufacturer Aquamass delivers an unbelievably clean and unique look, that is achieved by its overflowing “skirted” effect on the Wall Strip (pictured above) and the free-standing Strip Slice (shown after the jump). The bathtub comes in white, in either a free-standing or a wall-mounted version. There are also matching washbasins in the Strip range to complete the look.

Now after you saw this beautiful bathtub maybe you would like to know a few things about the price, and here they are … Without the built-in TV, the Wall Strip runs €5,720 ($8,400) and the free-standing Strip Slice goes for €9,080 ($13,350), and you can get it from here.

Reinventing The Bathroom : Bathtub + Shower by Ron Arad

With this new concept Ron Arad decided to change how the bathroom look, so he has designed this incredibly unique luxury bath concept for Italian manufacturers Teuco, which rotates to become a shower. The elegant sculptural form serves two purposes, it could either be used as a shower, or it could be rotated 180 degrees to form a bathtub against the wall. Arad worked with Italian bathroom design brand Teuco to bring the concept to life. At this stage it’s still a prototype but Arad is confident that with Teuco’s production expertise his bath dream will soon be a reality in our own homes. – Via

Extreme Minimalist Faucet

Is it a sword? Some metal bar attached to the wall? Perhaps even a contemporary style clothes hook? Really, it could be anything except what it really is, a faucet. Graff’s Luna faucet is extreme minimalistic in design and perhaps slightly Oriental to some. Sleekly descending into a vessel or a bath tub, the Luna is over three feet long!

You can get it in either polished chrome or brushed nickel for vessels or Roman tubs. The faucets are wall mounted but you do have a choice of either wall or deck mounted taps. So if you hanker for a centerpiece for your contemporary bathroom, go with the Luna.

White Lacquered Coffee Table by Ronald Knol

Designed by Ronald Knol, for Odesi, the Salontafel RKNL20 Table consists of 2 white lacquered discs of various thicknesses, the one from the top giving the impression of floating over the lower support. The gap between the two plates can be used for books, remote control or other things that we usually range in a coffee table! Finally the Salontafel RKNL20 Table is available in a square and an elongated form, and the price is €1380.
