Floating Gym and Spa in Wolfsburg, Germany

Living in Wolfsburg, Germany? Then you already know or probably even tested the floating gym and spa, but for the rest of us it just looks as a dream come true.

It’s a 800sqm river floating pontoon by designer Max Wehberg that includes a 40 meter long and 9 meter wide open-air swimming pool 30cm above water (includes heated water, too), a terrace, a solarium and spa amenities like massage cabins or other specific treatments that will “cause” relaxation.

It’s the perfect place to spend your time with a cold beer on the spacious sun deck, during those hot weekends. It’s just that I’m not sure everyone will appreciate the industrial view of the city. What do you think? – via Baunetz.de (translated)

    Looks like it’s directly beside the central station. On the other side of the river is the Volkswagen Autostadt (”Car city” – you can see how YOUR car gets build there and learn alot about the history of cars, very interesting place).
