owning a gardeing center in flatbush has allowed us to successfully meet the needs of our brooklyn, Manhttan and queens gardens. Rooftop gardens are just another wonderful addition to the way our customers can make the most of their space and create their tranquil gardens. We are happy to say our nursery can provide anyone with professional advice and products to start your rooftop garden,

This is for Lana,

I have had an extensive roof top garden in NYC,
Some plants will survive the frost some will not.
be prepared. The rootballs can be frozen solid, yet many come back.
I had great success with some beautiful Japanese Maples.

Thanks,
Paul

These are great pictures of rooftop gardening in New York City!
I'm a landscape designer who has worked on some great rooftop gardens.
I write about rooftop gardening and design in my blog: http://nyclandscapedesign.blogspot.com/

I love the pics. I am moving into a new penthouse apartment.
I would like to have a roof top garden like the one I see here.
But I have a question that I hope someone here can answer.
After you plant trees and srubs etc. in the containers, can you
leave them outside all year long even in winter? I hope to hear
from someone with info about this question.

Thanks
