I like to play Ping Pong, and I remember that a few years ago I’ve spent a lot of time playing Ping Pong every day. Today someone thought to gather a lot of table tennis balls, and create a product. Designer Diaz Kleefstra took 315 standard 40 mm celluloid table tennis balls and created a lamp, that as been named after the famous dutch table tennis player Bettine Vriesekoop. For those of you who want this handmade lamp you can get it from here for € 394,95. - Via

This beautiful house, located in Minami-Boso, Chiba (Japan), is the work of  Kiyonobu Nakagame & Associates. The villa was designed for the clients who live in Tokyo, and is located at about 2 hours from Tokyo in Boso Peninsula east of Tokyo. The design is characterized by clean lines, and a lot of wide space, and to make things even more interesting the site is facing the pacific ocean while having mountains as a background. Being surrounded by the natural landscape, and the great views of the site this place is like a piece of paradise, a great place for relaxation and meditation. And if you don’t believe me, just scroll down and try to imagine yourself in the last picture. - Via

There were numerous space saving designs here on Freshome, but this time here is something that we didn’t covered until now. Designer Sandy Lam created a design that is not only useful because it saves space, it is also completely hidden with zero space invasion while not in use. The purpose of this design is to increase the functionality of balconies and to enhance the concrete city look. This system will help to maximize condo living space because residents can extend their indoor living into the outdoor. Even when fully assembled, the hide-away system is a minimalist lover’s delight. The design is also flexible to its owner. If you were to move away, you can take the hide-away furniture with you and place it in the next balcony or living room. Here you can see with this design, that is simply called Spaceless below, and at the end a video with the design in action. Enjoy ! - Via - Yankodesign
