The stunning contemporary residence at 848 Southampton Drive is located in Palo Alto and is a 4,700 square foot house with 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms and 2 half-baths arranged over three levels. The stunning modern architecture comes with an equally stunning price of $5,850,000. Elegantly orchestrating light and dark, clean lines and rich natural materials, this extraordinary contemporary home provides an open and uncluttered environment that remains warm and eminently inviting. The sleek facade is a work of art in itself, showcasing stark horizontal lines, vast expanses of glass, a striking 17-foot stone wall, richly stained cedar slat siding, and beautiful zinc overhangs. In conclusion this amazing house is just perfect, I would love to have it is like a piece of heaven. - Via

I love the power that technology offer us in these days. For example take a look at this wireless floating pool speaker. If you have a pool and you want to listen to music while you get wet and relax you can take a look at this interesting idea … a water-resistant floating speaker brings your playlist right next to you in the water. I never thought at something like this, but I’m glad that other people figured out how to make this idea possible. The new Wireless Floating Pool Speaker transmits music directly from the iPod to the pool speaker. The speakers include a 3.5mm AUX cable with an AC adapter and are compatible with all iPod models. The powerful 915MHz system comes in the form of two speakers with full rage sound so that you can relax and enjoy right in the middle of the pool. The speaker can be purchased from here for $129.95.

Since electricity is present in almost any home, the candle holders industry declined, but they are still good for decoration, or to create a romantic atmosphere. For today here it is a series of masculine candle holders, called Light Plumbing. With Light Plumbing, Claus Bjerre has taken what is normally a very feminine object and turned it masculine. The candle holders are made in galvanized iron pipe and fittings commonly used in plumbing. The candle holders, which are a mix of craft and industrial design, have a powerful expression and reflect both masculinity and humor. - Via

The Atlas Industries AS4 wall mounted system is a furniture system, and shelving system comprised of hand crafted components with configurations that best suit your needs. The beauty of this system speaks for itself. As you stand before it, the quality of the materials and the level of craft become immediately apparent: Shelves and drawers of solid hardwood, dovetail joint construction, solid steel structure. But what’s less obvious is also what truly distinguishes this system: its versatility. - Via

The Perspective Chair is designed by Pharrell Williams in collaboration with furniture designer Domeau & Pérès. The Perspective chair will be shown in Paris at the prestigious Emmanuel Perrotin Galerie from October 21st 2008 until January 10th 2009. The chair will be available in four colors and only 4 units of each will be sold. Now this is a piece of furniture in limited edition, and if they’ll sell only 4 pieces just try to imagine the price. Finally the inspiration behind the design of the Perspective Chair was the relationship between a man and a woman, and here is what Pharrell has to say about this : “I had often wondered what it’s like to truly be in love, not lust for once.. So I decided not to ask what it was like in someone else’s shoes or what it was like to sit in their seat.. I decided to sketch out my own experiment; the perspective chair.” - Via
