Fractal 23 is a very creative piece of furniture designed by Takeshi Miyakawa. I must admit that I’ve never saw a piece of furniture like this before. The design, by Takeshi Miyakawa is made to make the maximum use of space and 23 different sizes of drawers certainly do that for you. Finally I don’t think that the Fractal 23 is a practical piece of furniture, rather an interesting piece of art that can make your friends say “Wooow“. – Via – Core77

Hi,
I find this quite interesting.
Although cube shaped – usually we feel more attracted to round shapes – I think it’s aesthetically well achieved.
When looking at it, I can’t help to recall those furnitures elements from the 18th / 19th centuries with many drawers.
Here in Portugal we call them “contadores”.
I checked the dictionay and I guess it may be counter or chest with many small drawers.
Kind regards,
José
It’s a cube and as long as all of the drawers are functioning properly, it could be a real piece of furniture. I can’t find a reason why I wouldn’t have it in my place.
OMG thats sooooo cool!!!
ya no reason not to have it
