I’m pretty sure that when you were a little kid you always wanted a secret passage in your home. Just pull a favourite book from your library shelf and watch a cabinet section recess to reveal a hidden passageway, or twist a candlestick and your fireplace rotates, granting access to a hidden room how cool is that ? Creative Home Engineering can make most of those wishes come true. Pretty much anything you’ve seen in the movies can be yours, according to the site, and anything that your mind can come up with. Now in these pictures below you can see a few of their works, I love the staircase idea.

The Gemelli Coffee Table is a really expensive coffee table ( $3059.95 ), but I’ve decided to post this product because the idea is quite interesting. The Gemelli Coffee Table is designed stylishly combining the concept of two tables in one. The table is made of glass and steel, a combination which provides the living room an elegant look. The two tops look one when closed and are adhered with UV glue; and can swivel apart making some extra space for more people. This coffee table is availble at Jensen-Lewis.

Here on Freshome we present mostly interesting architecture, interior design ideas, and other home related topics. Today I’ve found a really interesting 3D Business Card that I’m sure it would be perfect for an architect or an interior designer. With a business card like this if you are an architect or an interior designer I’m sure that a lot of clients will have a very good idea about you from the start. Now I know that some people might ask from where they can get something like this. I didn’t found a place where you can get something like this, just this video …but I’m sure that an origami expert might be able to help you.

This steel sculpture is a wonderful peace of art designed by Olafur Eliasson. This beautiful merging of art and architecture is a 9 meter-high walk-double spiral of steel in the entrance of the KPMG ( a global accounting firm ) office building in Munich, Germany. The stair is called Umschreibung (Rewriting), and was completed in 2004. - Photos by : Christian Beirle

Selecting the right modern vanity sets for your bathroom depends on your particular style, but you also need to consider the size and shape of your bathroom. Vanities today are both functional and fashionable, and a great example of moden wall-mounted bathroom vanity is the new collection from Cristalquattro named ODER. The sleekly curved area at the basin end defines the distinguished look of the Oder. Integral to the high-shine glass worktop, the basin is perfectly free from joins or interruptions, highlighting the benefits of glass-made bathroom furniture. Natural oak, wenge-stained oak and teak are used to craft the vanity, with careful attention to smoothly opening drawers and unobtrusive handles.
