The Residential House for S & P is an awesome project by australian based Architect, Bligh Voller Nield. This residential project was completed in 2003, sited in the centre of a corner block, and it the owners are a professional couple, he is a sailor and she is a gardener. The house design has been influenced by the desire for it to be both garden pavilion and boat house.

The house is sited in the centre of a corner block. It is generally one room wide, and “Z” shaped in plan to take advantage of the views. Upper level bedrooms similarly enjoy both prospects. A painted “fibro” box containing bedrooms at the upper level offers protection to lower level indoor and outdoor living spaces. Conventional domestic construction is manipulated for an elegant expression including a folded, floating wall with adjustable vertical louvers for western sun screening.
