The Moooi Boutique sofa collection is designed by Marcel Wanders. Designer Marcel Wanders takes a straight forward concept with clean lines and creates visual excitement with a great combination of contrasting and complimentary frame, pillow, and cushion fabrics. I’m pretty sure that a room that will be decorated in tone with the sofa print will be an amazing piece of interior design. - Via - Furniturestoreblog

White is the most commonly used color in interior design, especially in areas where bathing, cleaning and food preparation are prevelant. This is due to the fact that you can see anything that appears on white and wipe it up, keeping the surfaces clean and germ free. White combines well with black to form a stunning high contrast look. With the popularity of minimalist homes, decorating is lending towards using neutrals again. Keeping the interiors crisp white and clean, with often the use of subtle textures in kitchen bench tops, carpet or timber floors. Today I’ve found a great example of using white in interior design, combined with a little black. The final result is an elegant design with clean lines. These pictures are from Martin Dyrlov interior photography portofolio.

A few readers sent me emails telling me that every morning they grab a cup of tea or coffee, open their computer and come to Freshome to check if I’ve posted some new fresh designs. When I’ve found this original, brilliantly designed dual purpose drinking mug, I’ve immediately though at those people who sent me emails, and I’ve decided that this might be a good design to post. This dual purpose drinking mug can be purchased for £13.99 from here.

Water Ball Ripples is a really cool & modern bathroom faucet designed by Smith Newnam. The design looks awesome, and I’m pretty sure that you’ll fall in love with this faucet after you’ll see the pictures. To control the Ripple faucet, you maneuver an electronically-secured metal ball on top of the faucet’s frosted glass surface. Moving the ball in or out from the center controls water pressure. Moving it around controls temperature. A flash heating system ensures that water in the water channel isn’t hot until it’s ready to be mixed, which prevents scolding. The surface glows red or blue to denote how hot or cold it is. Now just image how much fun you can get by playing with this new technology. The bad thing is that the Water Ball Ripple is just a concept right now, but I’m sure that this design has a lot of potential. - Via - Yankodesign
