I can say that I’ve saw a lot of home theaters, but nothing can’t be compared to what Jeremy Kipnis $6,000,000 ultimate home theater. I know that there’s simply nothing quite like watching your favorite movie or sport event on a huge movie palace screen with fantastic wall-to-wall sound, and if you are really, really serious about the quality of both the picture and sound you produce and experience on a daily basis, then you need to see the Kipnis Studio Standard Experience, also known as “The Greatest Show on Earth”. I don’t really know what to actually say about this amazing home theater, a big waste of money or a true piece of art, but I inclined to think that $6,000,000 is way to much for a home theater, with all those money you can buy a a few Ferrari’s, a nice home, and many more. Now let’s see a few details that make this home theater so amazing …

This 1,520 s.f building was designed by Andrew Berman Architect as a library and studio for a writer. It is located at the threshold between a open field with an orchard, and a densely wooded area. The building geometry and circulation map the transition between these two landscapes. The study is situated at the elevation of the tree canopies. The volume is daylit from above. The exterior is sheathed in copper, and left to weather. With the studio floor situated at the elevation of the tree canopies, a floor to ceiling picture window provides the inhabitant with panoramic views of the wooded area beyond. - Via - Notcot

A curtain is a piece of cloth intended to block or obscure light, for instance at night to aid sleeping, or to stop light from escaping outside the building (stopping people outside from being able to see inside, often for privacy reasons). Florian Kräutli a design student at Eindhoven had a very clever idea when he made the Magnetic Curtain, a curtain which you can shape to any form”, magnets embedded in the curtain fabric allow the user to shape the curtain innumerable ways, both open and closed. Embedding hundreds of evenly dispersed tiny magnets into a grid of prefab folds allows for the easy manipulation of the silhouette or strategically modifying exposure for light and/or privacy. - Via - Yankodesign & Moco Loco

The italian furniture company MOCO designed Ptolomeo ( picture 2 ) in 2004. Four years later, Ex libris is born, a table obviously inspired by Ptolomeo, with the wisest legs in the world. When designing a table you don’t have to many options, that’s why almost all tables are the same, but this design is something really innovative. - Via - kostasvoyatzis
“A new way of designing a table is a difficult and fascinating challenge that has been resolved ironically with a light and elegant top, like the page in a book, yet to be discovered, that finds support in overlapping books.Table with metal legs and glass top laquered in black colour.”

Lodge is a modular bookcase that obtains a high degree of personalization, since it is formed from blocks of equal height that allow a free composition. At this modular bookcase it is possible to enlarge the height of the bookcase from new modules as more space is needed for storage. It presents/displays different compartments, suitable as much for books as for complements and decorativas pieces. In addition, it is possible to be used like separator of spaces, since it comes reinforced by an outer frame that surrounds it. - Via - Decoestilo
