More and more people are going green with their homes, there is growing interest in environmentally friendly sustainable products, such as renewable material countertops and flooring in kitchens, and water-saving toilets and LED lighting in bathrooms. Every quarter the American Institute of Architects updates its Home Design Trends survey and the fourth quarter dramatically shows the effects of the housing slowdown.
