Jeremy Kipnis Amazing $6,000,000 Home Theater

Share |

I can say that I’ve saw a lot of home theaters, but nothing can’t be compared to what Jeremy Kipnis $6,000,000 ultimate home theater. I know that there’s simply nothing quite like watching your favorite movie or sport event on a huge movie palace screen with fantastic wall-to-wall sound, and if you are really, really serious about the quality of both the picture and sound you produce and experience on a daily basis, then you need to see the Kipnis Studio Standard Experience, also known as “The Greatest Show on Earth”. I don’t really know what to actually say about this amazing home theater, a big waste of money or a true piece of art, but I inclined to think that $6,000,000 is way to much for a home theater, with all those money you can buy a a few Ferrari’s, a nice home, and many more. Now let’s see a few details that make this home theater so amazing …

  • Ultra-high resolution (4,096 x 2,160) picture from the Sony SRX-R110 Digital Cinema Projector
  • 8.8 channel audio system is fed by a well-balanced combination of audiophile solid-state and vacuum-tube amplifiers.
  • The 8.8 channel system uses sixteen 18-inch subwoofers

$6M is a lot to pay for “the real thing” don’t you think?

It’s fuuny to think that $6M was spent to exprience the “real” thing. Especialy because the pic shows Rattatulie playing on the screen and that actually never happened in real life. It’s a cartoon. So no amount of money can make it sound like the real thing. :) Would love to watch the BLOB on that sucker!!! or Animal Kingdom!!!

Yea, actually I can’t be too impressed. The Sony SRX-S110 is nice, but just like everything else it’s obsolete.

I enjoy the quality of projectors. I have a nice DLP system at home, but i’d never pay over $100,000 for one. That’s just…well, kinda silly. It’s a nice 6 million dollar setup, but I wouldn’t go as far as to call it the best.

It’s audioporn. And I won’t go into the fact that watching porn on this would be a … larger than life … experience.

I hope that equipment was spread out there just for the photos. As impressive as it is to see a ton of expensive gear, I’d rather have all that stuff hidden as much as possible.

    Mike Says:

It cant be hidden, that amount of wattage cant travel through a long wire if you want a clean sound. it needs to be where there can be no interference and and short as possible. I’m pretty sure thats his final setup.

That is a keen eye that cannot tell a real photo from a 3D rendering. Thank you for the many compliments, all the same – BUT!

damn it’s cool… but…. Why only spend 6 million on a setup for 3 persons….? hmm… I am working in a cinema, and in our smallest cinemaroom, we have 40 persons, and it’s nearly at the same size as the cinema obove…! so 3 seats only? no… 2 millions pr. seat….

    Kipnis Studios Says:

    christoffer,

My Kipnis Studio Standard designs are custom and hand-tailored to the clients requirements. In the case of my own Ciné Beta, the purpose is to allow a small number of people (up to 28) to actually be completely immersed in the presentation. The 8.8 surround sound system I have pioneered works particularly well in the 3,650 Square Foot Idealized Reverse Trapagon.

The results, as qualified by a slew of award winning professionals, speak for themselves:

If you expect to truly fool the senses entirely, you must create each system from the ground up!

Where are you located and what kind of screening rooms do you attend regularly?

    Cheers -

    Hey.
I am located in Denmark. I agree in, that you have to build up a custom created and calibrated system for every single screening to get the best experience. As told before, I works in a cinema. Our sound systems is created to fit the size of the room best and to give the best experience depending on the count of seats. Our biggest Screeningroom can contain 404 people, and is THX certified. But i am sure, that the sound quality and the experience is way much better in your cinema, because of the detailed system and speaker setup.

    Kipnis Studios Says:

Actually, the Arizona Leather couch (variously known as the ugly sofa) is large enough to seat six and certainly allows for several people to lie down simultaneously, and which is most comfortable to sleep on, in fact. But this KSS Screening room itself can alternately be outfitted with up to 30 standard plush theater seats within a few hours. Each seat offers unparalleled visual fidelity and sonic immersion – acting like a time machine to bring the viewer into the past (or future) of the movie or TV’s narrative. And video game tournaments are unbelievably involving! You just won’t believe how great your favorite PS3, XBOX 360, and Wii can be until you’ve experienced them on a 10′ tall by 24′ wide viewing screen accompanied by our new 12.12 surround sound!
