Florian Kräutli a design student at Eindhoven had a very clever idea when he made the Magnetic Curtain, a curtain which you can shape to any form”, magnets embedded in the curtain fabric allow the user to shape the curtain innumerable ways, both open and closed. Embedding hundreds of evenly dispersed tiny magnets into a grid of prefab folds allows for the easy manipulation of the silhouette or strategically modifying exposure for light and/or privacy. – Via – Yankodesign & Moco Loco

    Yes, you are right, the curtain doesn`t impress with the beauty, but I’m sure that if a designer could take a look at this idea, this curtain would look awesome.

    I think that the idea is remarkable and unique and if some has a difficulty to make the room more brighter then this invention is more than helpful. As a Toronto realtor I`m very delighted by the new practical ideas but I prefer to combine with decorativeness. That curtain doesn`t represent me the beauty now but with minor alterations I think that it could be a very impressivel part of the home. Thanks for sharing with us.
