The Ceiling Bookshelf is a great idea to store your books if your space is limited. As you can see a place that 99,9% of people don’t use can be used in a very practical way to store your books, and save a lot of space in any room. The ceiling bookshelf is an idea that can be applied quite easy. However, in order to get a book, you have to use a chair. Finnaly let’s hope that the ceiling bookshelf will not reserve us unpleasant and unexpected surprises, like a book falling from the ceiling. - Via - Apartmenttherapy

The NNI HAUS is designed by Akitoshi Ukai (AUAU) and is located in Kiyosu, Japan . This residence is built in the northwest of a block. It is the house of an L type plan built to the minimum site. A white wall makes a cut in one sheet of paper, and is bent and made according to the form of a block. Complicated form is produced though it is a simple technique in doing so. If this residence is seen walking along outside, the form is changed slowly. A great example of modern architecture, but as I can see from the picture there is only a small windows, so I think is quite dark inside, and the white color might look good, but only a while because the pollution will make it darker very quickly.

The Calume Table is a piece of extensible furniture. The graceful Calum displays a unique charm and features an integrated extension mechanism, which allows it to take two different forms depending on the need of the situation, round and oval. The table Calum has 130 cm in diameter when is not open, but the extension mechanism allows for a 50 cm extension and transforms the table top from circular to an oval shape. The base is made from stainless steel and has a height of 75 cm. I’m pretty sure that this table when open could be very easy be used as a dining table. - Via - Hometone

Swedx is a Swedish company who specialise in what they term as ‘unique products of natural character’. The concept of SWEDX is to create and develop unique products of natural character, optimal design and features. This is achieved by combining quality, performance, ergonomics and design. In the news section appears that they want to release a new range of HD ready LCD television entertainment systems which build upon their current range of wood finished LCD HD televisions. If you are interested in this new LCD HDTV I’m sad to announce that any details concerning the new range of LCD HDTV systems is virtually non-existent at the time of writing, with only a series of product images are available on their website for now. Anyway this HDTV would be a great chooice for those who want to something different with an organic look. - Via - Nexus404

This prefab home was spotted at CES and it might be the next-generation of prefab homes. The home, whose model name is Aegean, is a new design built from shipping containers by Los Angeles Architect Peter DeMaria for Logical Homes, a California prefab outfit. It was built inside the convention center for Olevia, a company that makes energy efficient televisions. Unlike the temporary booths favored by most exhibitors, this small footprint home is a fully engineered steel structure that was assembled in a matter of days. The house has modern lines and a long cantilevered roof - you can hardly see that this home is based on the adaptive re-use of two forty foot cargo containers. - Via - Dwell & Mocoloco
