Personally I was amazed by a lot of architecture projects that I’ve saw in 2007, it seems that architects come up with more and more amazing designs every year, especially in Dubai as you might know. Modern technology and visionary architecture certainly brings about much man-made wonders. Have you seen them all ? I’m sure that you didn’t saw all of them, but for this World Architecture has a very comprehensive Top 100 of the most viewed architectures of 2007- check it out to see if you can get inspired and amazed ! And finally tell me what’s your favourite architecture project.

    Great post. There are few things more beautiful than the joining of form and function on such a massive scale. People often take the genius required to create these buildings, from the sketch pad to the finished product, for granted. It is a long and arduous process that is nothing short than a miracle of human creativity and ingenuity.

    As a builder, I have a special love for the beauty of structure, but I think anyone would be moved by the magnificence of these monoliths.

    It’s nice to see an article like this popping up in “My Neighborhood”. I’ve been interested in architecture since I was young, and now that I’m an engineering student I can better appreciate the time, money and artistic talent that goes into make such beautiful structures. I like to search the web for new buildings, structures and architecture because it gives me a sort of inspiration to be innovative. I have seen many of the structures before, but a lot of them are new to me so thanks for posting this article! It was a great inspiration, and a nice break for me after a long compressible flow class this afternoon!
