The Velvet Black Faucet is a modern faucet designed by Grohe Ondus. Surrounding each component, a chrome ring celebrates the beginning of a rising interface. This sophisticated details creates a consistent icon and adds an intrinsic jewel-like quality. Handles seamlessly flow from their cylindrical bases, like raindrops gently dispersing on the surface of a stream or pond, invoking interaction with their seductive and tactile semantic. – Via – Contemporist

It would appear that somebody got a new thesaurus for Christmas. The Hyperbole here is overwhelming, sometimes dipping into the absurd.
Then, there’s this gem of a sentence:
“This sophisticated details creates a consistent icon and adds an intrinsic jewel-like quality.”
Which mixes plurals and singulars randomly, then, ultimately collapses into an senseless description amounting to no description at all.
Once we emerge from this quagmire of verbiage, we are so confused by the languid prose, that we forget that we are looking at what is in essence…
A Black Faucet.
Hmm, I agree on the hyperbole, however rather than focusing on the words, focus on the product and design. What do you actually think?
Sleek, clean, a bit uninspired, but attractive.
